(a) Your Consultation will terminate at the designated time interval. If you desire additional time, you will be required to book an additional consultation.
(b) The Merna Law Group, P.C. ("MLG") does not guarantee a solution to your problem, nor represents that analysis of any legal matter discussed will be concluded. You understand that you are paying for time speaking to an experienced attorney--not results.
(c) To ensure efficiency, you should defer to attorney to set the agenda, ask questions and dictate the direction of conversation. Long explanations provided by a client may have little relevance to the legal analysis and may only result in expended time.
(d) There is no guarantee that your appointment will commence at the scheduled time. Due to other clients and court time, your consultation may be delayed up to ½ hour.
(e) Cancellation. There is a $25 charge for cancellation of a ½ hour consultation and $50 for cancellation of a full hour. Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance will result in forfeiture of the full fee with no refund or rescheduling.
(f) If you do not respond to the attorney's Skype call within 10 minutes, the consultation all fees will be forfeited and the remaining time on the appointment considered cancelled by you.
(g) The Merna Law Group and you have attorney-client privilege regarding the information discussed during the Skype consultation. However, The Merna Law Group is unable to ensure confidentiality or security in the event the communication is intercepted over the internet. User is aware of this risk, accepts the risk and waives any claim of damage or complaint against The Merna Law Group due to third-party interception. *
